With the integration of genetics into gynecology and obstetrics, it has become possible to identify hereditary diseases during pregnancy, or to achieve healthy pregnancies prior to conception through embryo selection in IVF cycles using preimplantation genetic testing (PGT‑A). Another aim is to address genetic predispositions to gynecologic cancers, the diversity of genetic mutations involved, and to share developments in this field.
