Membership Conditions

Regular Members: Any specialist in Obstetrics and Gynecology with full civil capacity may apply for membership. Regular members have voting and candidacy rights and pay annual membership fees. Membership of foreign nationals is subject to legal residence in Türkiye.

Associate Members: Residents in Obstetrics and Gynecology may apply as associate members. Upon completion of training, they may become regular members by fulfilling the required criteria. Associate members do not pay fees and cannot attend the General Assembly.

Honorary Members: Individuals who accept the aims and principles of the Association and contribute accordingly may become honorary (international) members. They may attend all activities but have no voting or candidacy rights and do not pay fees. Foreign professionals working on behalf of the Association will be designated as the International Advisory Board.

Honorary Distinction Members: By decision of the General Executive Board, individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the Association, the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology, or medicine, or who have provided significant support, may be granted honorary membership. They may attend General Assembly meetings but have no voting or candidacy rights and do not pay fees.

Volunteer Members: Allied healthcare professionals working in Obstetrics and Gynecology (dietitians, physiotherapists, nurses, midwives, psychologists, and other professionals approved by the Executive Board) may register as volunteer members. They may attend all activities but have no voting or candidacy rights and do not pay fees.

Applications: Regular members may apply by submitting a signed membership application form to the General Secretariat, to the relevant Branch Presidency, or via the official website using a secure electronic signature. Associate, honorary, and volunteer members may apply through electronic or postal communication with the Association Secretariat.

The Executive Board reviews applications within thirty days and notifies applicants of acceptance or rejection.
