She graduated as the top-ranking student from Istanbul University Faculty of Pharmacy. Between 2004 and 2005, she was awarded the Berlex Research Agreement “Postgraduate Fellowship” and conducted her doctoral research at the Department of Pharmacology, Yale University School of Medicine, USA. She completed her PhD in Pharmacology in 2007.

Between 2015 and 2016, she carried out scientific research at the Department of Cardiology, Washington University School of Medicine, USA. In 2017, she was awarded the title of Associate Professor in Pharmacology.

She is actively involved in several academic and administrative roles, including Scientific Advisory Board Membership at the Istanbul University Clinical Research Center of Excellence, Advisory Board Membership Institute of Child Health at Istanbul University, Erasmus Coordination at Istanbul University Faculty of Pharmacy, and serving as an evaluator for the Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Pharmacy Education Programs (ECZAKDER). She is also a member of the National Pharmacy Education Accreditation Commission (UEEAK), the Measurement and Evaluation Committee of the Faculty of Pharmacy, and the Clinical Research Ethics Committee at Istanbul University.

She is a founding member of the Rational Pharmacy Association. She has served as a scientific advisor to various committees of the National Health Authority, particularly the Turkish Medicines and Medical Devices Agency under the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Türkiye.

She has actively contributed to numerous educational activities, presentations, and training programs organized by professional organizations, associations, and academic institutions, particularly in the fields of Rational Drug Use and Pharmaceutical Care.
