Berivan Guzelbag completed her medical education at Inönü University Faculty of Medicine in Malatya, Türkiye. She subsequently completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at University of Health Sciences, Istanbul Kanuni Sultan Süleyman Training and Research Hospital. Since August 2023, she has been working as a specialist physician at University of Health Sciences, Istanbul Haseki Training and Research Hospital.

During her training, she gained international and subspecialty experience as an observer physician at Ghent University Hospital, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in Ghent, Belgium, for three months. She also completed a six-month observership in Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology at Istanbul University, Çapa Faculty of Medicine.

Her main clinical and academic interests include endometriosis, adenomyosis, reproductive endocrinology, pediatric and adolescent gynecology, and gynecologic imaging and minimally invasive procedures, with particular expertise in ultrasonography, hysteroscopy, and benign gynecologic surgery. Her residency thesis focused on adenomyosis.

Since 2021, she has been an active early-career member of the Turkish Endometriosis and Adenomyosis Society. In 2024, she was selected as an Early Career Ambassador by the World Endometriosis Society (WES). She is also a member of the Imaging Special Interest Group (Imaging SIG) of the European Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy (ESGE), where she actively contributes to collaborative projects and closely follows advances in gynecologic imaging technologies.
