Cem Yağmur Özdemir has held positions at various institutions throughout his professional career. In 2014, he worked at Bilecik Yenipazar State Hospital, and later that same year moved to Osmangazi University Faculty of Medicine, where he served until 2018. Between 2018 and 2021, he worked at Kütahya Evliya Çelebi Training and Research Hospital, and between 2021 and 2024, at Afyonkarahisar Health Sciences University Faculty of Medicine. Since 2024, he has continued his career at Afyonkarahisar State Hospital.

His academic education began in 2007 at Akdeniz University Faculty of Medicine, from which he graduated on June 23, 2013. In 2014, he began his specialization training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Eskişehir Osmangazi University, completing it on April 25, 2018. In 2020, he began subspecialty training in Gynecologic Oncology Surgery at Afyonkarahisar Health Sciences University, completing this training as well on November 15, 2023. Most recently, he was granted the title of Associate Professor in Obstetrics and Gynecology by the Interuniversity Board on July 31, 2026. He has 18 articles published in journals indexed in international indices, 9 articles published in journals indexed in national indices, a total of 10 oral and poster presentations, and 3 book chapters.
