Dr. Işıl Ayhan received her medical degree from Yeditepe University Faculty of Medicine and completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Zeynep Kamil Women and Children’s Diseases Training and Research Hospital in 2018. She fulfilled her compulsory public service as an OB/GYN between 2018 and 2019 at Aksaray Ortaköy State Hospital. She subsequently completed her subspecialty training in Perinatology again at Zeynep Kamil Women and Children’s Diseases Training and Research Hospital between 2020 and 2023.

Throughout her training and clinical career, Dr. Ayhan focused on the management of high-risk pregnancies, twin pregnancies, prenatal genetic diagnosis, fetal ultrasonography, fetal cardiology, and intrauterine fetal therapies.

She pursued advanced international training in 2020 at Yale University in the United States within the Departments of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Maternal–Fetal Medicine, and the Fetal Treatment Center. In 2023, she further expanded her expertise in the United Kingdom at St George’s University Fetal Medicine Centre and King’s College Hospital, Harris Birthright Fetal Medicine Centre, with a focus on advanced obstetric ultrasonography and intrauterine fetal therapies. During these periods, she actively participated in collaborative scientific research with international colleagues.

Dr. Ayhan has authored articles published in international peer-reviewed journals and is involved in ongoing multicenter research projects. She was awarded the title of Associate Professor in 2025. She is an active member of professional organizations, including the Turkish Maternal–Fetal Medicine and Perinatology Society and the International Association of Women’s Health Education and Research, and contributes to educational and scientific initiatives.

Dr. Işıl Ayhan currently practices at the Perinatology Clinic of Antalya City Hospital, where she provides comprehensive care in high-risk pregnancy management, advanced ultrasonography, and women’s health.
