After graduating from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 1988, he completed his residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Ankara Dr. Zekai Tahir Burak Training and Research Hospital between 1988 and 1993. From 1993 to 1996, he worked in the High-Risk Pregnancy Unit at the same hospital.
Between 1996 and 2002, he served as a specialist in the IVF units of Ankara Sevgi Hospital, City Hospital, Istanbul German Hospital, and Ankara Bayindir Hospital. Since 2002, he has been working as the Responsible Physician/Medical Director at the Private Ankara IVF and Women’s Health Center, which he founded.
He was awarded the title of Associate Professor in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2001. In 2004, he completed his PhD programme in the Department of Medical Histology and Embryology at Gazi University, earning the degree of Doctor of Science, and in 2019 he was promoted to Professor.
He served as President of the Association of Private IVF Centers between 2008 and 2012, and has held the same position again since 2021. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of ISERW.
