He graduated from Adana High School for Boys in 1979 and Istanbul Faculty of Medicine in 1985. He completed his compulsory service as a general practitioner at Afyon – Anıtkaya Health Center between 1985-87, and his military service as a medical lieutenant in Muş – Malazgirt between 1987-1989. In 1989, he started his specialization in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Zeynep Kamil Women and Children's Hospital with the medical specialization exam and became a specialist in 1993. Between 1993-1997, he served as Chief Assistant and Deputy Chief Physician at Zeynep Kamil Hospital. During his specialization and training in Obstetrics and Gynecology, he received training at the Royal Victoria Infirmary, Newcastle Upon Tyne, England; St. George's Hospital, London; and Yale University, USA. Between 1997-1999, he worked as an Obstetrics and Gynecology specialist at the Private Haznedar Hospital. From 2000 to 2002, he served as the Deputy Head of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic at Haydarpaşa Numune Hospital. From 2002 to 2010, he served as the Deputy Head of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic at Haseki Hospital. He received his Associate Professor title in 2010. In 2011, he became a specialist in Gynecological Oncology Surgery. Since 2011, he has been working at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Acıbadem University and the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Acıbadem Fulya Hospital. In 2015, he received a certificate in Assisted Reproductive Technology Training. He also became a Professor in 2015.
