Prof. Dr. Sedat Kadanalı graduated from Istanbul Faculty of Medicine in 1987 and began his specialization in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Dokuz Eylül University. He became a specialist in 1993 and started his academic career at Atatürk University Faculty of Medicine. He received the title of Associate Professor in 1996 and Professor in 2001.

He has conducted research in the field of reproductive endocrinology and infertility both in Turkey and abroad (USA, Rush University in Chicago). He served on the boards of the Turkish Gynaecology and Obstetrics Association and the Turkish Society of Reproductive Health and Infertility (TSRM) for many years. He has served as a member of the editorial board of numerous scientific journals, a member of the TÜBİTAK project evaluation committee, and an expert witness. He is a member of professional associations both in Turkey and abroad.

He has served as a speaker and panelist at many academic meetings. He currently works in Istanbul.
