Brief Biography:

Dr. Taner Usta graduated from Cerrahpasa medical school from the University of Istanbul in Turkey. He completed Residency training in Obstetrics&Gynaecology in the Bezm-i Alem University Hospital, Istanbul, Turkey. He completed the Assisted Reproductive Technologies Education program in Istanbul University, Cerrahpasa Medical school, Assisted Reproductive Unit, in 2008. He had joined an education program about Pelvic Neuroanatomy and Chronic Pelvic Pain in Saint Joseph Hospital, Arizona, Saint Louis University, St.Louis, Missouri, USA. He completed the education program from International Society of Neuropelveology (ISON), passed the exam, and joined an intensive hands-on course about the Neuropelveology program in Viborg – Aarhus/Denmark. He is interested in Laparoscopy, Robotic Surgery, Endometriosis and Pelvic Pain. Now he has worked at Acıbadem Altunizade Hospital, Istanbul, Turkey since March 2017 and Acıbadem University. He established the Endometriosis and Pelvic Pain Clinic in Acıbadem Altunizade Hospital. He was the General secretary of European Endometriosis League (EEL) from 2015-2017. He was the President of Turkish Endometriosis and Adenomyosis Society in 2019- 2022, and he is also a Board member of the same society. He is an Advisory Board member of European Endometriosis League (EEL) from 2019 and European Society of Gynaecologic Endoscopy (ESGE) from 2021. In March 2022 Taner Usta had an accreditation Surgeon of Excellence, and his Endometriosis Center was Turkey's 1st, Europe's 2nd, and the world's 6th. Center of Excellence in Multidisciplinary Endometriosis Care (COEMEC, from U.S.A.). He has a Professor at Acıbadem MAA University.
